Pastor - Ryan Lintelman
Ryan grew up in the Houston area and graduated from Crosby High School. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and remains a devoted fan of the Baylor Bears. Ryan and his wife Danyel were married while he was attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, where he earned a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology. Ryan has since earned a Doctorate of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and is enrolled as a Ph. D. student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Ryan and Danyel have three children, Elijah, Mia Beth, and Jude.
Ryan became senior pastor of FBCWC after over 5 years as youth pastor. Ryan’s primary goal in ministry is to communicate God’s word in a passionate and understandable way. You can usually find Ryan nose down in a good book, eating snow cones, talking to someone about Baylor sports, or spending time with his beautiful family.
Student Minister - Colby Wallace
Colby was born and raised in West Columbia and graduated from High School in 2001. After spending 19 years in West Columbia, he moved off to Sam Houston State University to pursue a degree in Business Management Information Systems. Colby met his wife, Krit, in college and were married in 2006. Colby and Krit have a daughter, Emma, who was born on Christmas Day in 2008, and a son, Noah, who just joined their family. Colby joined the staff of First Baptist in July of 2010 and is greatful to be apart of this community again. His heart is to share the hope of Jesus to the youth of today, and to reach the people of West Columbia with the Gospel.
Director of Childrens Ministry - Danta Russell
Danta Russell, married to husband Tommy, has three amazing children, Kelby, Kegan, and Kaisn. The Russell family have been residents of West Columbia for over 10 years and Danta is passionate about reaching the children of our community for Christ.
Danta has a Masters Degree in Counseling and professional experience as a therapist working with children and families. The Lord had other plans for her professional life and led her to a place of ministry in 2008 as our Children’s Director where she has found her true calling.
Danta delights in being a mom who is devoted to teaching and training her children to know and love the Lord. When she’s not at the church, you can find her hosting tea parties, attending baseball games, and all the other things a busy mother cherishes.
